Kangana Ranaut’s sister, Rangoli Chandel, is quite popular for her bold statement on Twitter. Whose Twitter account got suspended after spreading hatres and negative news.
She tweeted, “Make these mullas and secular media stand in line and shoot them” and said “who cares if they call us Nazi”. The tweet was shared over 2,000 times and liked by 8,000 peoples.
By spreading such hatred on twitter in the name of popularity many users along with celebrities have registered a complaints to Mumbai Police against her.
According to a news portal, advocate Ali Kaashif Khan has filed a written complaint against Rangoli at Amboli Police station. He was quoted stating that Rangoli had turned too low now for cheap publicity stunt. He also stated that with the world struggling with a lot of issues due to Corona pandemic, Rangoli is busy garnering cheap publicity for herself and taking undue advantage of the situation.
Sussane khan’s sister, Farah Khan has stated in one of her interview with Economic Times that she had reported Rangoli’s account. “Sometimes we have to speak up against people who spread hatred because we need to have more positive thoughts in the world, especially in a time like this.” Actor Kubbra Sai of Scared Games fame were also among those who condemned Chandel.
Folllwing the complaints, Twitter took action and suspended the verified accoint which had over 95,000 followers.
Last week, she claimed she received a warning from Twitter but didn’t explain why. Following this, she called the social networking site “anti-national” and said the platform would “go to graveyard” if they suspended her account.
Soon after her Twitter account was suspended, Rangoli had soon shared her official statement, “Twitter is an American platform absolutely biased and anti India, you can make fun of Hindu Gods call Prime Minister and Home Minister terrorists but if you say anything about people pelting stones on health workers and Police forces they suspend your account, I have no desire of empowering any such platforms with my perspective and honest opinions, so I am not reviving my account, I was my sisters spokes person now watch out for her direct interviews, she is a huge star she has many ways of reaching out , a biased platform can be easily avoided.”
